At the “It’s Showtime” event by Apple today, Apple had introduced it all new Apple Arcade game subscription service for iOS, Apple TV and Mac. Apple Arcade is to feature the latest games released by famous game developing companies like Acclaimed Indie Developers, Major Studios and Legendary Creators Hironobu Sakaguchi, Ken Wong, and Will Wright.
Users that have subscribed to the Apple Arcade will have access to over 100 new games that can only be downloaded from a special dedicated section on the App Store. With a single subscription, you can play as many games you wish and there will be no ads and no in-app purchases.
That being said, subscribers can switch from iPhone to an iPad, Mac and Apple TV. Therefore, you won’t need to stick to a single device to enjoy playing your favorite game.
Once a game has been downloaded, players can enjoy playing their favorite game offline. Therefore, you won’t be needing any internet connection in order to play any of those games. Access to Apple Arcade can also be shared amount of six family members.
Apple did not reveal the subscription prices yet. According to Apple, the subscription will be available to over 150 countries this fall.
