Chil’s Attraction Jacket ($40) for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is a wallet folio case with a shell inside to hold an iPhone, which attaches to the rest of the case magnetically. The shell is said to work with “all magnetic mounting solutions,” and Chil also claims the vegan leather folio jacket will not demagnetize credit cards.
The jacket also folds to act as a kickstand. A magnetic clasp is used to keep the folio case shut.
Attraction Jacket’s two credit card slots provide more space than initially thought — one card fits easily in each pocket, and it’s possible to get two cards in each pocket without too much trouble, as well.
The removable shell is a nice touch, though of course, it won’t offer much protection, as there’s no button coverage and the top and bottom of the iPhone are left exposed. It’s the same thing we saw in BookBook, but here, it’s much easier to remove the shell due to the magnet — we see that as a drawback, though, as a slight jostle could cause your shell to drop out of the folio jacket.
Attraction Jacket’s removable magnetic shell has its pros and cons, but it’s an interesting feature that sets it apart from most other wallet folio cases for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
