Apple has released a new and upgraded TV app that comes with the newest tvOS 12.3 update.
The biggest features and improvements include new content from Starz, HBO, Showtime and Epix, which can be unlocked via subscriptions. Everything is now done in-app so you won’t have to get to the HBO Go, for example. Moreover, the TV app now supports offline viewing on phones and tablets, which means you can now watch Game of Thrones and other exciting shows anywhere without an internet connection assuming you’ve already downloaded the episode or movie beforehand.
Other notable features include a new TV logo, a new show and movie suggestion section, iTunes purchase integration, a Kids section and Apple TV channels.
The new Apple TV app is available in more than a hundred countries in the iOS 12.3 update for the iPhone and iPad, and in the tvOS 12.3 software update for the Apple TV and the 4K model.
