Information from Asia claims that the iPhone 17 Air and the base model will come in 9 color options.
A user with the handle ‘yeux1122’ posted on Korean blog Naver that accessory manufacturers have started producing ‘protector rings’ that will be color-matched with the yet-to-be-released iPhone models. Furthermore, the manufacturers are expected to produce the finish and have it ready when the iPhone 17 lineup launches.
The iPhone 17 Air will come in blue, gold, silver, and black, while the iPhone 17 will come in purple, green, blue, silver, and black. The current iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 16 come in ultramarine, teal, pink, white, and black. It seems the Air model will adopt the muted colors of the Pro lineup as a way to position it as a premium model. Leakers ‘Majin Bu’ and ‘Fixed Focus Digital’ have echoed the same sentiment for color options. Apple will reveal the iPhone 17 lineup in September.
