An online post on the social media platform Weibo reveals the battery capacity of the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The leaker with the handle ‘Instant Digital’ suggested that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a 5,000 mAh battery capacity, which is the biggest in iPhone history. To compare this new battery to the previous iPhone models, a list was provided with the iPhone 11 Pro Max through the iPhone 17 Pro Max with their respective battery details. The iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 33-hour life, up from the iPhone 14 Pro Max’s 29 hours and the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s 28 hours.
The added 300 mAh of the iPhone 17 Pro Max could put it at 35 hours or more, depending on how efficient the X80 modem and A19 Pro chip are. The next iPhone lineup is expected to be revealed in September.
