Fortnite Twitter Hacked

The official Fornite Twitter account had been hacked earlier today after the hacker left some funny tweets for Fornite fans. Although, its still unclear how hackers took over its Twitter account in the first place.

According to reports, it appears that the hacker was also part of the Fortnite community. Its been a few hours now that Epic Games had gain access back to the twitter account. However, Epic Games hasn’t released any official statements regarding the hack.

As epic games gained access to their twitter account, they immediately removed all tweets made by the hacker. Here is the first tweet made by the hacker:

Based on the screenshots we listed above, it does look like the hacker has used TweetDeck to publish those tweets.

Judging by the fact they were tweeting from TweetDeck, they probably got into some employees account that has access to it, as one account can have control over all others

It’s not clear whether Epic Games are to take any legal actions against the hack and whether they want to release any official statements regarding the hack. Since this story is still developing, we will update this article as soon as we receive new information about the hack or the hacker.
