Accessibility features are getting new updates in the form of settings for color blindness and motion sensitivity, and will be available on the iOS 13 and 3rd party apps.
iPhone users can disable auto-play video previews within the Accessibility settings to turn off videos within the App Store. Lateral screen transition can be changed into a cross-fade transition that will be easier for individuals with motion sensitivity.
iOS 13 also brings a setting from the Mac called “Differentiate with Color”, under the Display and Text Size category to help individuals who are suffering from color-blindness. This covers tritanopia, protanopia and deuteranopia and helps differentiate between critical colors within an interface. For example, instead of having colors to separate player 1 from player 2, a game may use unique icons instead.
Also, a new SwiftUI adds several capabilities that make things easier for users, including better controls and accessible images via interface elements such as hint, values and labels.
