The latest Apple Pay promotion involves ordering groceries with Instacart. Get $5 off when ordering groceries worth $35 and up on Instacart and using your Apple Pay upon checkout.
You’ll have to use both the iOS Instacart app and Apple Pay to get the discount. The deal runs now until October 20, 2019 and doesn’t apply to alcoholic products.
To get started, open the Instacart app and order some groceries for a minimum of $35. When you reach the Payment Option, choose Apple Pay and confirm. You won’t need to enter a discount code or voucher as it will be automatically applied. For example, the $35 grocery order becomes $30 with the $5 off.
Apple runs promotions regularly through their Apple Pay app as a means to increase exposure and usage among iOS users. In August the Apple Pay back to school deals had various merchants, including TOMS, Plae, Oakley, Shutterfly, BJ’s Wholesale Club and Adidas participating.
