We were never big fans of Apple’s iPhone 4 Bumpers, but Zenus thought it could do the same idea better. Multi Bumper for iPhone 4 ($35) has the same general look of Apple’s plastic iPhone edge covers, but with a few key differences.
Instead of combining plastic and rubber into a one-piece frame, this one is all plastic, and it comes in multiple pieces. There’s a main tray, a backplate, and a front lip; metallic covers are placed over the Sleep/Wake and volume buttons, with tightly cut holes for all of the other necessary openings.
The backplate would be a nice addition but for the circular Apple logo window, a now-classic signature of poor design. Multi Bumpers are available in gold, silver, and lime green, each with either black or white lips and backplates.
