Cosmetically near-identical to the previously released PowerBolt Micro from Kensington, Targus’s new Mobile Charger for Apple iPad ($25) is also compatible with the iPhone and iPod families, including an extremely low-profile car charging bulb and a Dock Connector cable.
The packaging and web site make no guarantees of the Charger’s 2.1-amp charging functionality, however, and the accessory appears to be a rebranded OEM design.
We’ll update this First Look with details on its charging performance in the near future.
