Billed as a case capable of protecting the iPhone 4 from “specific klutz moments” that everyone has, Splash Products’ new Klutz Case ($50) combines a two-piece hard plastic shell with interior rubber lining, an integrated clear plastic screen protector, rubberized corners, and rubber port covers — all contributing to a nearly but not quite waterproof design.
Holes for the speakers, microphones, cameras and ringer switch are all there to provide unfettered access to the iPhone’s communications features, while everything else has at least one if not two layers of protection; even the Home button is protected.
Touch sensitivity is not significantly impacted by the screen protector, which has a glossy finish and sits reasonably close to the iPhone 4’s Retina Display.
