It’s been almost four years since we’ve seen something new from Hong Kong-based Shinnorie, but what arrived today was interesting enough for us to take notice: the Ringo Leather Pouch for iPod nano ($TBD).
We’re not fans of sleeve- and flip-styled designs for touchscreen iPods and iPhones, and think they’re ill-suited to heavy video users, but the cuteness of this particular case — headphone pouch on front, iPod pouch on back — is undeniable, and the ability of the nano-holding tab to double as an ejection mechanism for the device is actually an improvement on a similar feature found in Apple’s old leather iPod cases.
The matching detachable wrist strap and keyring are also nice touches.
