PocketDock Line Out Mini USB ($30) is, to the best of our knowledge, the smallest device on the market capable of transforming the Dock Connector of an iPod into a mini USB port and line-level audio output port — SendStation supplies the 3.5mm- and RCA-out audio cables, you supply the USB cable.
The plastic, nano-thin adapter can be used at home or in a car for audio-out and charging purposes; it will trigger iPhone nag screens when used with that device.
