Developed by Taiwan’s Lingo, iMini, iMini FM, and iVY are three separate radio receiver accessories compatible with iPod touches, iPhones, and iPads. Shown in white, iMini offers both digital and FM radio tuning capabilities, including support for DAB, DAB+, FM, and Internet Radio through a combination of a free application and a receiver that depends upon self-supplied Apple earphones for antenna functionality.
The simpler iMini FM is shown in black, possessing only FM and Internet Radio tuners with its hardware and software combination. iVy is billed as the “world’s first Bluetooth digital radio receiver,” oddly relying upon your iOS device to serve as a tuner for the shirt clip-mounted receiver, which once again depends on you to self-supply and connect headphones in order to receive DAB/DAB+/FM radio signals.
None of these products appear to be available for sale in the United States; the DAB/DAB+ functionality in particular is designed for overseas use.
