As one of three new Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions pieces of software added to the iTunes Store’s iPod Games section, SAT Prep Reading 2008 ($5) offers high school students both strategies and sample test scenarios for the reading comprehension portion of the common United States college entrance exam. In both text and audio form, the strategies section offers general information on the SAT Test’s structure, top ten SAT tips, and college admission tips, as well as specific details on long reading comprehension, short reading comprehension, and sentence completion.
The latter three topics are covered by multi-question quizzes based on past SAT questions. You can get detailed explanatory feedback during or after the quiz, and work with or without a timer.
Results are saved for later viewing and comparison.
