Codesigned by Griffin and Iceberg Kids, Woogie ($20) is an asterisk-shaped stuffed holder and speaker for any iPhone or iPod touch, designed to make the devices easier and safer for kids to hold.
Woogie’s face includes a touch-through soft plastic shield for the touchscreen and Home button, with a retracting audio cable to connect to the headphone port of your device; once connected, the iPhone or iPod touch can be heard through a twin AAA battery-powered speaker, with the first set of batteries included in the package.
Available only in green, Woogie’s six soft, fleecy body is around the size of a large but not oversized teddy bear.
