As one of relatively few decorative and protective options for the third-generation iPod shuffle, Core Cases’ new Aluminum Jacket ($20) is sold in two three-packs — “AM” with three bright colors and “PM” with three more subdued, mature colors — each with foam-padded metal shells that cover much of the iPod shuffle’s body.
The top, back, and bottom are exposed, but the front and sides are covered.
Like all Core Cases shells, these are well-made and attractive, and just slide on and off.
