Normally, we wouldn’t be interested in covering an accessory such as Amzer/Moftware’s 3500 mAh Battery Backup Solar Charger ($100/$70), as it looks and feels like a cheap knock-off of the iPhone 3G, but some users might be interested in its features: a full face solar panel capable of recharging the internal 3500mAh battery inside — enough to recharge an iPhone 2.5 times — and a USB cable for times when the solar panel can’t get the sunlight it needs.
No cable is included for the iPod or iPhone to connect to its USB port; a battery life indicator button and an on-off switch are found on its sides.
