XtremeMac told iLounge today that its MicroMemo iPod audio recorder will begin shipping in early July for $60. The MicroMemo, which was announced in January for $80, features an omnidirectional microphone and a built-in speaker for instant playback.
The device connects to a fifth-generation iPod’s dock connector, and records 16-bit audio in high or low quality formats. The MicroMemo’s microphone is detachable from its 3.5mm port, which can be used as a line-in port for use with external stereo microphones or other audio devices.
XtremeMac is now taking pre-orders for MicroMemo via its website.
