Twitter has announced that it has teamed with Apple on a new feature that allows Ping users to link their Twitter accounts to Apple’s social music network.
According to a blog post from Twitter’s Kevin Thou, once a Ping is account is linked with Twitter, every Post, Like, and Review will also be tweeted on the user’s Twitter account, along with playable song previews and links to purchase and download music from iTunes.
The post also notes that iTunes song previews are available on Twitter.com in the 23 countries where the iTunes Store offers music; to link your Twitter account with Ping, simply access Ping from iTunes and click the link that appears at the top of your activity page.
