Apple executives met with California’s department of motor vehicles last month to discuss plans for the company’s self-driving car, The Guardian reports. The DMV would only state that “the Apple meeting was to review [the] DMV’s autonomous vehicle regulations” and nothing further.

This report suggests that Apple’s self-driving car “is almost ready for public view.” A report from last month claimed Apple was looking at testing locations for the vehicle.
