PBS has released a new application allowing users to stream PBS content to their iPad. PBS for iPad provides access to both current programs and a variety of content from the PBS archives as well as access to local PBS station schedules from within the app.
The application provides access to classic PBS shows such as Masterpiece Theatre and Julia Child as well as some new content that has been created specifically for the iPad version. Users can also pause shows while watching and resume them later from where they left off.
PBS for iPad is available from the U.S. App Store as a free download.
