Accessory maker Belkin Corp. (http://www.belkin.com) says one in five iPod owners has bought one of its products.
Atlanta designer Ash Arnett suspects that the iPod’s sleek white design encourages accessorization. ‘Any decision about a case or something like that is going to be a stylistic change, because there’s almost nothing there,’ said Arnett, a principal with the design firm Matter (http://www.matterco.com).
