Mac: Book2Pod 1.2.1 released

Last updated: May 14, 2021 10:31 am UTC
By Dennis Lloyd

Book2Pod is a utility to format large text documents so they can be read on an iPod using the built in Note Reader software.

It supports documents larger than the 4KB per note limit of Note Reader, and makes the 1000 note limit easier to live with.
What’s new in this version:

  • Added an option for ‘Show as on iPod’
  • ome efficiency improvements, should be much faster to display long books
  • Option to use chapter delimiters as titles on the iPod (instead of Chapter 1, Chapter 2 etc)

    License: Freeware
System Requirements: Mac OS X 10.3 and an iPod with firmware version 2.0 or higher (Dock connector or iPod Mini)
