A major new update to Instagram has been released adding support for location information in photos along with a number of design improvements. Instagram 3.0 now provides a new map view to allow users to view their photos by geographic location along with a profile setting to control which photos are displayed on the map.
The update also features redesigned profile and uploads screens alongside other design improvements throughout the app. In addition, Photo feeds now provide infinite scrolling and users can flag inappropriate comments.
Instagram 3.0 requires iOS 4.0 or later and is available from the App Store as a free download.
