Antecea has released an update to Cloud Connect Pro, its file management and screen sharing app for iOS devices. Cloud Connect Pro is a universal app that allows iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users to access files on shared Mac or Windows computers or a variety of online services such as MobileMe and Dropbox. The app also provides support for screen sharing over VNC or RDP, support for printing via AirPrint and the ability to play music files directly from shared storage using an integrated media player.
Advanced features include Wake on LAN support for remote computers, SSH Public Key Authentication for SFTP connections and VGA Out support.
Version 3.0 adds a new PDF viewer that improves loading times and adds support for bookmarks, thumbnail view, text search and table of contents. The update also brings the ability to print to HP Printers over RDP, access the iPod music library from within the app and transfer photos to Google Picasa.
Additional improvements include a new audio player, remote access to the on-device photo library over Wi-Fi and a new icon viewer for navigation. Cloud Connect Pro is available from the App Store for $25.
