Apple has released Apple TV Software Update 5.0.1, the latest update for its set-top box.
Available for both the second- and third-generation Apple TV, 5.0.1 includes support for HD previews for movies and TV shows on the iTunes Store, a fix for an issue that caused some iOS apps to have trouble connecting via AirPlay, Home Sharing reliability improvements, fixes for an issue that affected Netflix login and navigation, and overall stability and performance issues.
Apple TV Software Update 5.0.1 is available now via the Software Update feature of the Apple TV’s Settings menu.
