Weebly’s group of online stores now support Apple Pay, according to a release from the company.
The company says its research shows “one in four people abandon their carts because of a “too long and complicated checkout process” and checkout conversions are 66 percent lower on mobile than on desktop,” and with 40 percent of all Weebly’s transactions coming on mobile devices, David Rusenko, Founder and CEO of Weebly, said, “Apple Pay makes checking out online a frictionless experience.” The roll out will be phased in over the next few weeks, and to be eligible merchants need to be connected to the Stripe payment gateway.
