Currently available in 500GB and 1TB versions—a 2TB version is slated for the third quarter of this year—this portable drive is perfect for tossing in your bag while traveling.
And of course, it uses USB 3.0, so you can expect quick transfer speeds if you’re using a more recent Mac.
Beyond just holding your data locally, My Passport Ultra comes with the company’s WD SmartWare Pro backup software and Dropbox integration, enabling you to copy some of your files to the cloud, too.
It’s always good to have an offsite copy of at least the most important stuff, and this makes it easy. Plus, it comes with a carrying pouch—what more can you ask for?
