We can tell you about Feral Interactive’s GRID ($25), but first, just look at it. Beautiful, right? This brand new racing game from the company behind most of the big name titles in the Mac App Store is stunning, combining elements of a driving simulator with those of an arcade racer, taking you across the United States, Europe, and Japan.
As important as any other aspect of a good racer, GRID includes a number of licensed vehicles from Aston Martin, Porsche, and Lamborghini, among others. You can race against your friends in LAN and online multiplayer modes, using either your keyboard and mouse or supported gamepads and steering wheels.
Make sure you check the tech specs on this one: very specific video cards are required to play GRID, and of course, you’ll need a relatively recent dual-core or better processor.
