Rather than stick with Apple’s distribution channels, EightyEightGames decided to go with Steam for the Mac port of its popular iOS title 10,000,000 ($5). Using 8-bit-style graphics, the game combines elements of RPG, action, and puzzle games; think Bejeweled meets Final Fantasy meets Indiana Jones.
As your character moves along the top of the screen, you’re presented with a 7×8 grid of tiles that you have to match to move on. Up against an enemy? Get three swords in a row to attack.
Treasure chest? Go for keys. Your home base is a prison, and that’s where you can work on improving your skills and powering up your character.
