While it was easy to miss amidst all of the excitement of iPhone X pre-orders, Apple also quietly rolled out a new MacBook accessory in the form of its Leather Sleeve for 12‑inch MacBook.
Available in Saddle Brown and Midnight Blue, this new Apple-made sleeve is “crafted from high-quality European leather” and has a soft microfiber lining on the inside.
Apple also notes that the design allows you to charge your MacBook while keeping it in the sleeve. It’s far from the first high-quality leather sleeve we’ve seen recently and clearly carries a price premium thanks to the Apple branding — by comparison Woolnut’s MacBook Leather Sleeves come in at under $100 — but if you like the style and want something that’s easy to pick up at your local Apple Store, it’s still worth a look.
