STM — long one of our favorite bag companies — has recently introduced its new Velocity collection, which includes a number of new bags. One of these new bags is Haven, a backpack that can fit up to a 15” MacBook. Haven’s main compartment has a suspended sling at the bottom with extra corner padding, ensuring your computer won’t bump the floor when you set your bag down.
The bag also contains STM’s own cableready routing system, which allows users to add portable power and charge devices while they’re in the backpack. Haven is made from water-resistant fabric which should stand up to the elements. The pack comes in blue, black, a light “frost gray,” or a darker “steel” gray.
STM makes great bags for those who carry around a lot of gear, and Haven is no exception.
There are enough pockets here to store not only your MacBook, but multiple iPads if need be, along with your iPhone, and any extra cables or small items you’d like to tote along. Haven also keeps STM’s back panel design, which offers comfort via raised foam and an “air channel” for your back. Everything is very well considered and designed, and Haven is another well-made, reasonably-priced backpack from STM.
