Just Mobile’s AluPlug is a two-port USB wall charger that the company calls a “luxury” USB wall charger. That “luxury” comes from Just Mobile’s typical aluminum finishing, which makes up the majority of the plug.
AluPlug supports 2.4A charging, so it can charge an iPad at full speed.
AluPlug is a chunky little thing, but it does look more attractive than your typical plastic charger, and the knurled finish gives it a nice feel. The charger also has a foldable wall plug in back, which makes it easier to store and tote around.
AluPlug is a bit pricey, but if you’ve got a cheap wall charger displayed in a prominent place, Just Mobile’s new charger might be worth the upgrade. It’s currently listed on Just Mobile’s website as “coming soon,” but it should be released in the very near future.
