Scosche

Scosche is showing two new variations of its popular boomBottle speaker — the waterproof boomBottle H20 ($100) and boomBottle Mini ($80). The company’s RhythmSmart+ ($100) fitness monitor can be paired via Bluetooth or Ant+ — it also allows users to leave their devices at home while going on a run. Scosche’s MagicMount system ($15-30) lets users attach cased devices without the use of clamps or hooks. The company’s superCube ($25) is a tiny 12W charger — about the size of Apple’s 5W charger for the same price.

Submersible in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes, boomBottle H20 uses a 50mm driver for audio. It should be released in the first quarter of this year.

boomBottle Mini ($80) is a shorter version of the boomBottle. A 40mm driver powers the sound. It’s expected to be released in the first quarter of 2014.

RhythmSmart+ ($100) is a new wearable fitness monitor that can connect using Bluetooth Smart or Ant+.

Its FreeRUN feature lets a user wear the monitor while away from his or her device — the workout info is stored on the monitor and can be uploaded to the device upon returning home. RhythmSmart+ works with many popular fitness apps. It uses a rechargeable battery which Scosche claims can last for 8 hours. It will be released in Q2 2014.

Scosche’s MagicMount ($15-30) system lets users mount a device magnetically while using any case.
