Q: Is it possible to download music from Windows Media Player to an iPod?

A: You can do this if you have unprotected WMA files (files containing no digital rights management information). Just find the files, then drag them into an iTunes window, such as your Library or a new playlist.
iTunes will convert them to AAC files (or whatever format you have selected in the Importing preferences), and you’ll be able to use them on your iPod. If they’re protected WMA files, you’ll need to burn them to a CD (better yet, a CD-RW) and rip them using iTunes in order to listen to them on the iPod.
