A: Using AirPlay, you can “push” photos to the Apple TV from the Photos app on an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad running iOS 4.2 or later.
However, this functionality is not presently available from a Mac or Windows PC, at least not officially.
If you’re a Mac user, you can check out AirFlick, which is available as part of Erica Sadun’s collection of AirPlay Utilities.
AirFlick is a little app that will allow you to send any video, audio or image file to a remote Apple TV via AirPlay. AirFlickr isn’t as elegant as being able to stream a slideshow directly from iPhoto, but it does the job.
