iPhone Hacks: How to Do Office Work on the Go?

In today’s fast-paced world, it is important to stay active all the time. For a lot of hustlers, there is no such thing as an off day. While it may not be possible for all workaholics to stay glued to their Macbooks 24/7, there are some smart ways to do their office work on their iPhones on the go.

iPhones are extremely efficient and versatile. Moreover, the latest generation of iPhones has some great features that allow you to perform various tasks while moving. Here are a few ways to attend various office meetings on your iPhone.

iPhone Hacks: How to Do Office Work on the Go?

1. Manage Documents

With your iPhone, you can open and edit various documents. You can install the Microsoft 365 app on your iPhone and smoothly manage Word files, PPTs, and Excel sheets. Also, using a PDF to editable PDF converter app on the device is relatively easy.

Since all your documents will be synced with all your devices via iCloud, you won’t have to worry about losing any important documents. If your organization uses a different cloud storage option, do not worry. iPhone supports a variety of other cloud storage providers like Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, Box, and more.

2. Attend Meetings

In the last few years, many businesses have adopted remote working facilities. This has increased the popularity of online video conferencing platforms like Zoom, Skype, Teams, Google Meet, and more. All these apps are available on the App Store.

Simply log in to your account on these apps and connect with your team on the go. You can simultaneously share files with the team on your iPhone. Moreover, you can use productivity tools like Slack on your iPhone.

3. Stay in Touch with the Team

While video conferencing apps are great for conducting meetings, you must communicate via chats and emails with the team. While installing the Gmail app and accessing all the emails on your iPhone is easy, you can do the same for your Outlook account.

Remember to turn on the notifications to get all the important work-related updates. You can also stay connected with the team on various instant messaging apps now available on the App Store.

4. Manage Tasks with Ease

Let’s not forget all the productivity tasks you can do with your iPhone. While you get apps like Pages, Numbers, and Keynote preinstalled on the device, you can also add other productivity apps to your iPhone to manage various tasks.

Apart from Microsoft Office 365 apps, the iPhone also supports Google G Suite. So, accessing Google Drive or Google Docs won’t be a problem. Also, you can install apps like Trello, Basecamp, OmniPlan, and more project management apps if required.

5. Perform Employee Management Tasks

If you are a part of the Human Resources team or the administration department, you always need access to the HRMS portal. While these HRMS platforms are specific to the company, you can find many HRMS apps on the App Store. If you can find the app that your organization prefers, you can manage most of the tasks from your iPhone.

Even if the app is unavailable on iOS, you can use the platform’s web version using your mobile browser and manage the tasks there. Access to the HRMS platform will allow other team members to manage their attendance, apply for leave, and access salary-related information on their phones.

Conclusion

You may have noticed that most people in management prefer iPhones, as these devices make it easier for them to manage their work on the go. However, before performing all the major work on your iPhone, get clearance from the IT department and your reporting manager.
