AC60 – Easy-Carry Solar Generator Packed with Features
The is ultra-portable at just 18.9 lbs and 11x8x9 dimensions, with a 600W pure sine wave inverter and 403Wh battery. Add a B80 and capacity can be boosted even further. The power station is able to generate up to 1,200W via Power Lifting Mode for high-demand camping equipment.
As for outlets, the AC60 should be more than enough to power your laptop, camera equipment, camping gear, heating, and lighting. There are a total of seven outputs, including two for AC, a 100W USB-C PD port, two USB-A ports, a wireless charging pad, and a cigarette lighter port. Simultaneous charging is supported as well.
Bluetti’s upcoming generator supports many ways to charge, including solar, adaptor, car, and generator. Under the hood is a 600W AC Turbocharging technology that can bring the capacity from 0-80% in just 40 minutes. If low noise is a priority, then there’s Silent Charging Mode that runs at 40dB or less and is ideal in close quarters.
Bluetti has added several power-saving features so you can use every watt of capacity. ECO mode automatically shuts off the unit when there’s no load. Granula output is supported in DC or AC mode from anywhere between 5-20W or 10-30W, respectively, and via the Bluetti app. On the road, the unit can be put in ultra low standby mode to save precious energy even further.
Control of the AC60 is mostly done via the Bluetti app, which offers remote access and real-time monitoring options. There’s a colored LCD screen that displays important information, including input and output status, discharge and charge remaining, battery percentage, and more.
Since it’s made to go with outdoor adventurers, the AC60 is built tough. Circuitry is separated from exhaust vents, and all the external shell is rated dust-proof and water-proof. You can use it for camping, on treks, and the beach without worrying about the internals.
B80 Expansion Battery – Safe and Reliable Battery Component
The B80 is the direct answer to the upcoming AC60 unit. Inside are industry-leading LFP cells for utmost safety and stability. Each unit can last up to 3,500 cycles for longevity. Add two B80 modules and you can enjoy up to 2,015Wh of capacity. By itself, the B80 offers several DC output modes, including a car outlet, a USB-C, and a USB-A. Charging up the module can be done either via the built-in ports or through the AC60.
The size of the AC60 and B80 is roughly a shoebox, with a fold-down handle for transporting and carrying from RV to field. The battery expansion pack is also tough and durable, with an IP65 rating that weathers any environment. It also has a battery management system to prevent short-circuit, over-temperature, and over-voltage concerns while keeping efficiency at a maximum.
