Are Online Browser Games Better Than iPhone Games?

Are Online Browser Games Better Than iPhone Games?

Mobile apps have dominated the gaming landscape, and for good reason. They’re made for smaller screens and are designed to be played in short periods of time.

But before that, browser games were all the rage. Developers thought how accessible it would be to make a simple game that could entertain or capture your attention for a short time. These games could run on Safari browsers and even allowed for multiplayer settings to some extent.

Are Online Browser Games Better Than iPhone Games?

There’s no comparison on whether browser or iPhone games are better because they both have advantages and disadvantages. In a way, browser games are better than iPhone games when you need something quick and satisfying to play.

Web-Based Games

Your iPhone can become a platform for browser games via the Safari app. Playing racing, shooter, arcade, sports such as soccer games and any genre on the browser can be a refreshing experience.

Starting these web browser games is a matter of opening the Safari browser, then typing the URL of the game site and allowing the page to load. That’s it! There’s no installing or waiting for updates. There are even some platforms that are optimized for smaller screens, including the iPod Touch and iPhones.

You and a friend can even get in on the action with 2 player games. How cool will that be? You can instantly play during downtime or free time.

If you’re tired of seeing clones of popular games, then you can pass the time with fun games on the web. Instead of browsing through hundreds of titles on the App Store, you can open the Safari, Puffin or any similar platform and point to an online game site URL.

Choose what tickles your fancy, hit “Go” and blast away without worrying about download size, compatibility or running out of energy. Afterwards, simply close the browser window, tuck your iPhone in your pocket and resume daily life.
