5 Apple Products Potentially Launching in Early 2025

2024 marked a highly successful year for Apple with a broad range of products being launched and revamped, notably the iPad lineup revamp, launching new MacBooks and the iPhone 16 series.

With Apple launching over 5 cutting-edge products in early 2025, and possibly 15 more through the remaining months, this year too is all set to be game changing for the brand and its fans, like myself, across the globe.

5 Apple Products Potentially Launching in Early 2025

As always, I’m expecting a high level of innovation from the brand across various products such as the iPhone, MacBook, and smart home devices. As someone looking to automate my home this year, I’m particularly excited about Apple’s smart home devices and have already begun exploring fiber internet near me to make the most of them.

Let’s explore which products the brand will have in store for us in the first half of 2025. P.S. You might want to start practicing standing in a long line for hours again, I know I am.

·      iPhone SE4

The iPhone SE4 will be one of Apple’s must-have products possibly launching in 2025, and packing a range of major cutting-edge features. The phone may be similar in design to the iPhone 14 and is expected to launch somewhere in March. Here’s what you can expect:

  • A18 Chip
  • 8GB RAM
  • USB-C Port
  • 48 Megapixel Main Lens
  • First-ever Apple-made 5G Modem
  • Apple Intelligence support, previously limited to iPhone 15 pro and iPhone 16
  • Notch for‌ biometric authentication using ‌Face ID instead of a ‌Touch ID‌ Home button

While the price is expected to be within 450 to 500 dollars, sources are hinting at a price bump due to the addition of features. To stay positive, the brand may not overdo it to keep its edge in a competitive market.

·      MacBook Air

The tech giant is leveling up one of its widely loved MacBooks. The iconic laptop will now be available in 13 and 15-inch screen sizes, and additionally feature:

  • M4 Chip
  • 16GB RAM
  • Nano-texture Display
  • 3 Thunderbolt 4 Ports
  • 12 Megapixel Center Stage Camera
  • Potentially 25% faster multi-core CPU Performance

All these solid updates in the new and improved MacBook Air make it perfect for work, creativity, and entertainment. The product may potentially be available in March, based on the previous model launching in the same time frame last year.

·      HomePad Smart Display

Apple continues to strategically penetrate the smart home market with products such as the 4K Apple TV, and HomePod products.

The HomePad is the brand’s latest smart home product that promises to introduce a new level of focus to the market. Below are some of the expected features, based on journalist Mark Gurman’s post on X:

  • Includes speakers, FaceTime camera, and battery
  • Emphasis on Siri, communication, and home control
  • Also includes customizable home screen using Apple widgets and home controls
  • Taps into video doorbells and video cameras, providing support for security alerts
  • The width may be about two iPhones placed side-by-side, potentially with a 6-inch screen
  • Runs Safari, Music, Notes, and various Apple Apps, however, doesn’t offer an App Store
  • Primarily a touch device, it will mostly be voice-activated due to new App Intents by Apple Intelligence
  • Includes wall attachments, and a speaker base for desks, tables, kitchens, and nightstands are currently underway
  • Focuses heavily on security and provides audio and video intercom that integrates with other home devices
  • Features watchOS and iOS StandBy mode, with UI dynamically shifting based on user distance

With this wide range of features, we can expect the brand to transition from working on smart home devices as a side project to focusing on them as a market-seizing project. While the device is expected to release in March, it may be pushed ahead.

·      iPad 11

In 2024, Apple launched a new iPad lineup featuring the iPad Mini, iPad Pro, and iPad Air models, featuring M2 and M4 chips in the iPad Air and iPad Pro respectively. Additionally, the iPad mini saw an update with an A17 Pro chip for Apple Intelligence. Despite this, the brand did not launch a new generation iPad, however, that’s about to change soon!

The iPad is being upgraded to an 11th-generation device, one that is rumored to feature:

  • 64GB RAM
  • iPadOS System
  • 10.9-inch Display
  • 12 MP Main and Selfie Cameras
  • Apple A16 Bionic Chip (Possibly A17)
  • May feature Apple’s new Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networking chip

The new generation iPad is expected to launch in April. In addition to the features above, rumors also hint towards the launch of new accessories, including updated Magic Keyboards for the iPad 11, and an M4 chipset in the iPad Air.

Noteworthy Apple Products Potentially Launching Later in 2025

  • iPhone 17: featuring the iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max, this series will mark the end of the iPhone Plus title. Most are expecting the series to launch by September 2025.
  • Apple Watches: rumors of the Apple Watch 11 series and the Apple Watch Ultra 3 with the long-awaited blood pressure monitoring feature have been circulating. Most expect the products to launch before the end of 2025.

2025 – A Bright Year for Apple and Its Fans

Apple is well known for its never-ending innovation and we can expect to see it in action all across 2025 from the potential launch of the products mentioned in this article to major software and hardware upgrades.

With so many potential product launches around the corner, 2025 may be one of Apple’s most successful years, set to break records in design, performance, and functionality.

I don’t know about you, but I am eagerly looking forward to what Apple and this year bring to the table.
